Herbert Regnier

Herb is a passionate and proven leader, who believes in the ability of youth to excel regardless of circumstance, and the potential of minority communities to thrive once given the resources to do so. Over the past two decades, Herb has worked with leading companies in the private sector and nonprofit organizations.



Before joining MLSC, Herb served as the Director of Youth Services for Union Settlement Association. As director, Herb was a member of the organization’s senior leadership team, managing the Youth Services department’s daily operations and growing the department’s budget in excess of $7 million dollar budget annually.

Prior to this, Herb worked as a policy associate where he advised various organizations and provided oversight to grantees of the Manhattan District Attorney’s Criminal Justice Investment Initiative.

In the past, Herb also served as founding program manager of JP Morgan Chase, The Fellowship Initiative, and director of education services at The Fortune Society.
